If you're trying to ween yourself off of chemicals or just trying to be natural, then lemon is the key. Use 2 tsp pure lemon juice and 1 egg white, then beat until fluffy. Apply all over face, just like a mask. Leave it to dry and wash it off with luke warm water, then apply a toner of choice followed by an oil-free moisturizer. It will slip off your face, so just keep reapplying until you use it all and it will eventually build up enough to where it stays in place. It will burn, but it will also clear up your face and help to fade your acne scars. It worked really well for me, and I had really bad scars all over my chin.

Another trick is to apply -only- white toothpaste (such as crest) to your acne- prone areas, and leave it on overnight. Wash it off with luke warm water, and make sure to moisturize like crazy, because it can dry out your skin severely, if you let it. If you do this three to four times a week, you'll start seeing results shortly.

A homemade mask with bananas, ground almonds, honey, and a tiny bit of mayonnaise works great for severely dry skin, and makes it feel baby soft.

Also, if you use sugar and mix it with a bit of either water or vegetable oil and use it to exfoliate your body, it works great. It tends to be too harsh for the face, but it works really well on the body.

I hope that helps anyone, I know how much of a pest acne can be. :)

Oh, and, are there any good natural cures out there for body acne when you have sensitive skin? Does anyone have a similar problem? Nothing seems to work for body acne.

This may sound a little strange but i swear it works,, I have a guy friend that used to have pretty bad acne but now has the most PERFECT skin you'll ever see. so i had been noticing how great it was clearing up & stuff so i asked him how he got his face so healthy & pretty and shiny...
& well he said that he washed it with toothpaste & at first i was like What the hell is wrong with you :) but that following night when i got home from school,,
i decided to try it. & IT WORKS AMAZING!!!
it hurts pretty bad but i swar its completely worth it,, imnot very high tolerant to pain but i got use to it after a awhile &
it works really good.

instructions:
1st get a washcolth & a tube of toothpaste(it doesnt maker what kind you have but i use crest)

2nd turn to hot water & get it maybe a blitz above luke warm & just wash you face with water(if you have make-up on TAKE IT OFF)

3rd squeeze out a pea size amout of toothpaste on your hand & start messaging it on your face.

4th IT WILL BURN,, i know
but its worth it,,
eventually after about 5 mins your face will stop burning &
thats when you wash in off with a warm water filled washcloth.

5th dry your face with a hand towl & before you go to bed dab a little bit of tooth paste on the red acne spots & wash it of in the morning

do this 2 to 3 times a week :)
hope this works for you. it did for me.

I've got moderately severe acne all over my face. I get like a pimple a week, but the scars stay there forever. I just tried the baking soda scrub after reading about it, and my face is matte for the first time in years! I first make a paste out of baking soda, rub it on my face, then wait for it to dry. Then I rub off the baking soda and rinse it off, followed by a wash with Neutrogena's Deep Clean facial wash for normal to oily skin. Although I have very oily skin, I use one for mildly oily skin because washes for oily skin tend to remove all the oil, making your skin dry and flaky, and your skin will produce even more oil.

From some research I did, I have a few tips to share:

If you have sensitive skin, do not rub the baking soda paste too hard. Also, the baking soda paste trick burns, especially over open zits. Do not use baking powder. What you're looking for is bicarbonate of soda, or baking soda. Baking powder have other ingredients such as cream of tartar.

If you have skin that is rough to touch, dry applying a little bit of honey to your skin before sleeping, leave on for a few minutes and rinse off. It should be smooth the day after.

I have long hair and pimples around my hairline. Try to get a mild face wash that lathers a lot, the face wash I mentioned earlier does. After shampooing AND conditioning and while still in the shower, lather up some soap in your palm and apply to the hairline area with your fingers. Make sure most of the soap is on the scalp, not the hair. Rinse off, and if your hair is dry, rubbery or snags when you touch it, apply conditioner that dries off. These type of conditioners that are meant to be added to your hair while still wet conditions without leaving an oily film. Something else that might work are those lotion that you add to your hair before hair-drying or straightening. Try your best not to get anything on your scalp or face.

Try not to wear a cap, or anything that will cover up your hairline. It may cause sweat and oil to build up, dandruff will fall and might just clog up your pores in the hairline area. Do not back comb or tease your hair with a fine comb. It will irritate your scalp, and is also bad for your hair. Try not to tie your hair up in a ponytail too often, consider alternatives such as clipping your hair back loosely. When you tie your hair in a ponytail, you will cause a pattern baldness around the temple area. This will cause new, shorter hair to grow. The short hair might catch onto dirt that will transfer to your temple area.

I hope these helps. Please leave a message on my website if you have any questions or tips for me too. [Moderately severe acne, extremely oily skin, pimples in hairline occasionally, and extremely humid climate that doesn't help.]

* Make facial wash by using lemon and rose water. Mix them together and apply the liquid on your face. Leave it for a few minutes and then wash off by using cotton pad soaked in warm water.
    * Use egg whites to treat your acne; apply the egg whites on your face and leave for 10 -15 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water.
    * Mix oatmeal and natural yogurt and apply on your face for a few minutes. When you feel the mixture dries on your face, wash it with warm water.
    * Drink a lot of water during the day.
    * Eat many cucumbers during the day in order to keep your face acne free.
    * Drink warm water with lemon a few times a day.
    * Eat healthy food; make sure you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables.
    * Take a cotton pad and dip it in rose water, clean your face with the rose water a few times a day to get better looking skin.
    * Take one lemon and squeeze its juice. Apply the lemon juice on the acne pimples and leave for 20 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water. If your skin stings from the lemon, wash your face before the 20 minutes are over.
    * Apply garlic cloth on the acne to make it heal faster.

I used every common remedy out there, including the well known pharmacy brands, but what really worked for me was Yeast.
a thin paste made of yeast powder and water over night (on the spot), leaves my skin moist, and with the acne healed... depending on the blemish might need more than one night.
I had it so bad over a period of time that I had to sleep with a yeast mask for about a month, but it healed! even the ingrown ones.
now I only use it when I feel a blemish comming.
the smell is funky, but works without burning, tainting or hurting my skin in anyway.
good luck!

Also be careful of the hair products you use. Use oil and fragrance free. I am going to try these suggestions above. Thanks!

The lemon thing works to lighten the marks left by previous spots because i've been using it for years now. However, like most acne cures, it has its drawbacks. With applying lemon directly to the skin i found that tiny pits started developing. This may have been because lemon is so acidic that the skin cant take it. So i discontinued use, i heard that some popel dilute lemon with rosewater.

With applying lemon directly to the skin i found that tiny pits started developing. This may have been because lemon is so acidic that the skin cant take it. So i discontinued use, i heard that some popel dilute lemon with rosewater.

UMM I HAVE TROUBLED FROM ACNE WELL PIMPLES SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL, IVE TRIED MANY PRODUCTS AND THEY SEEMED TO WORK FOR A BIT BUT THEN MY PIMPLES WOULD COME BACK. FROM FACE WASH TO SPOT PIMPLE TREATMENT. IVE WASTED SO MUCH MONEY ON PORDUCTS AND NUTHING SEEMED TO WORK.....
.I FOUND AN EASY HOME REMEDIE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS..

IN THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP WASH YOUR FACE WITH HONEY AND BROWN SUGAR.. ..[THE BROWN SUGAR IS USED TO EXOFOLIATE YOUR SKIN... HONEY HELPS RENEW YOUR SKIN AND GIVE IT A NATURAL GLOW MAKE YOUR AND MAKE YOUR SKIN LOOK LIKE A BABY]

LEAVE ON FOR LIKE 2 MIN. OR SO YOU CAN ALSO USE IT AS A MASK BUT I RECOMMEND TO LEAVE IT FOR 2MINUTES.. THEN YOU WASH YOUR FACE WITH LUKE WARM WATER..

DRY YOUR FACE..AFTER THAT SQUEEZE HALF A LEMON IN A CUP AND WITH YOUR FINGER DAMP IT IN THE INFECTED AREAS WHERE YOUR ACNE IS LOCATED.. ITS GONNA BURN COUSE THE LEMON CUTS THE INFECTION BUT YOU WILL SEE RESULTS QUICKLY I PROMISE THAT..
LEMON IS ALSO KNOWN TO WHITEN ACNE MARKS..

INT HE MORNING TAKE A NATURAL SHOWER. AND AFTER YOU COME OUT OF THE SHOWER USE A FACIAL TONER....

TRY BUYING A TONER.. I RECOMMEND THE SEORA DEAD SEA TONER..

IT HAS DEAD SEA MINERALS..

TONERS HELP YOU REFINE PORES AND REMOVE SEBURN,DIRT, WITHOUT DRYING YOUR SKIN, IT ALSO TIGHTENS YOUR PORES SO DIRT WONT GET IN, AND ALSO REMOVES UNWANTED SHINE AND RESTORES YOUR SKINS NATURAL PH....

[OH I ALMOST FORGOT TRY CHANGING YOUR PILLOW CASE ONCE A WEEK]

..................................................

ALSO DRINK GREEN TEA....IF NOT CHAMOMILE
TRY DRINKING IT PURE SO IT CAN WORK IF NOT WITH A BIT OF HONEY

GREEN TEA AND CHAMOMILE TEA ARE KNOWN TO REDUCE REDNESS AND BUMPS..

MAKE IT PARTY OF YOUR DAILY ROUTINE... OVER TIME IT WILL HELP ITS ALSO GOOD FOR YOU ITS ALSO GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH..

PLEASE TRY AND TELL ME YOUR RESULTS...IT WILL BE A GREAT ONE

I have been suffering from acne for 4 years. I tried a lot of stuff (benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, isotretenoin). They cure the acne but new ones appear in other parts of my face. I am now trying the Daniel Kern regimen from acne.org: Cetaphil cleanser then 2.5% benzoyl peroxide then oil-free moisturizer. I will try it for two weeks and wait for the results. If nothing happens, I'll try baking soda and vinegar since i haven't tried that. I think I will eventually switch to the natural stuff when my face clears because I don't want to be dependent on chemicals...

I have been using acne cider vinegar. I pored it into my hands and wet my face with it. I didnt dilute but I think you should! 2 weeks later my acne pimples had shurken a lot, and my skin tone was starting to even out. Now I have better reults because I use vinegar only at night and witch hazel in the morning. I have been doing this for 2 weeks. In one month my skin has improved alot.
